The Next Size Up Semi-Annual Kids’ Consignment Sale is accepting consignors for its spring sale May 1 – 4, 2014, at the John Smith Sports Center in Milford.
This is a chance to sell your child’s outgrown or unwanted toys, clothing, games, baby equipment (think strollers, swings and bouncers), games, DVDs, books and more! You can earn a much higher percentage than what is offered by traditional consignment stores, and you don’t have to take the risk of meeting up with strangers by selling over the Internet. You don’t even have to be at the sale – once you drop your items off (by appointment) you can just sit back and wait for your check.
Consignors set their own prices for their items, and decide which unsold items to discount to half-price on the last day of the sale. Consignors also get to choose with each item whether they want to pick it up if it doesn’t sell, or leave it with Next Size Up for donation to Cradles to Crayons (donation receipts available).
Consignors also get to shop early at the private presale on Thursday, May 1. Consignors earn at least 60% of the sale price of their items, and can boost that to as much as 75% by volunteering to work at the sale. Volunteering is fun, and the more shifts worked, the earlier you get in to the private presale.
Consigning is easy! After registering as a consignor, you will enter your items into the Next Size Up online inventory system and print out bar-coded tags. Attach the tags to your items and you’ll be set to go.
